AmericInn by Wyndham Rochester Airport

Very clean hotel right next to the Rochester airport. Have stayed there a few times due to the convenience of being so close to the airport. Personnel is friendly and willing to accommodate guest whenever possible. Shuttle to the airport available most days. One of the attendants was kind enough to give me a ride to the airport even on the day the shuttle was not operating after my taxi never showed up and almost missing my flight. There is also a good restaurant right next door so no need for transportation to get a good bite to eat. Movie theaters and shops are fairly close but If you are going downtown it may take around 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Stay here every year for the past five years, always seems clean, well made beds, but interesting room layouts that are functional but are just a little weird. This last time I noticed really strong smells, like it smelled like a fresh Bakery when I walked in, and I think a nearby Factory pumping out fumes gave a funny smell in my room when I turned on the AC. Otherwise great price, great location for Event Center, friendly staff. I'll be back next year.
