Today I was denied the right to buy tobacco from coopers corner gas station. I have lived across from this station for almost 13 years and go there multiple times a week for gas booze or anything in general. My daughter age 21 was going to get some juice and I asked her to buy me a tin of tobacco. When she asked for it they said she couldnt buy it because she was surely buying it for her boyfriend who didnt have his ID but is also of age. Not a huge deal but that frustrated me when I heard about it so when I went up there I asked about it. I asked why they have the right to refuse sale to anyone who is of age and has money to buy. There response was if they believe someone is buying for a persons underage then they refuse service. I asked why is it anyone's business who they are being bought for and if they have done nothing wrong how can they assume some one is guilty before they do anything wrong. They then proceeded to tell me that they couldn't sell me tobacco because I was surely buying it for my daughters boyfriend also. I said no its for me I have a chew in my mouth rite now do you want to see. The attendant said she is not comfortable selling to me. I will never go back there again and I hope some of you who read this will do the same. They have always been an overpriced but convenient option for us but my family will never frequent their store again.

Whether it's a $5 gallon of milk, an $8 jar of mayo, or a $3 sleeve of saltines, these guys are one step from outright thievery. Their gas is on average $.20/gal higher than St. Francis. Your only other option is to drive 8 miles in any other direction to get anything else. Avoid this place.
