With a heavy heart, I am writing this review. I was a patient of this practice for over 10 years. It is local to me so it was convenient at first. One of the hygienists seemed to understand me and my teeth sensitivities so i kept going. I have been in the waiting room and have listened to the front desk staff gossip with family members about other patients and heard other things that i thought were inappropriate. As the front desk doesn't really know me, i let it go. I had a bad experience with one of the older dentists that told me if i didn't come to get my teeth cleaned at least three times a year, that he wouldn't treat me again. I didn't see him again but went with another dentist as i thought it too much trouble to start over with another practice. They had prescribed and made a type of night splint for me that eventually changed my bite so drastically that i had a open bite that wouldn't let me eat a sandwich normally. Rather than admit they made the wrong choice on the splint, they let me know that it was my fault as I should have known that it wasn't for years of use (no one told me that and they kept making me a new one every year) I did argue my way with them to a negotiated lower price on a different type of splint that they said might help in allowing my teeth to move back to a more normal position. (that hasn't happened and it has been over a year). We aren't to the worst part yet. I have two very very very sensitive teeth that 'zing' so badly when cleaned with a metal scraper that at my last cleaning apt, i asked the hygienist to leave them be. I was informed that 'mammograms hurt too but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get them'. I asked again, to please not scrape those teeth and was responded to by her telling me she had to do her job and if i didn't let her clean those teeth the way she wanted to that they'd rot out of my head and i had no say in it. I let her know, calmly that I did have a say and that i'd be leaving and not get a cleaning that day. A business office person came and told her that that was fine. No one addressed me. I had decided to let that be it and seek a different dental practice as my husband left this practice years ago. My husband really wanted me to post a review, however i preferred to let myself and the practice part ways quietly. I came home to a letter today that this office has removed me from the active patient list and will only see me in an emergency in the next 30 days. I wouldn't go back to this practice if all my teeth fell out at once.
