Generally, I like this gym. The equipment is up-to-date, the classes are challenging, the training staff is nice and there is some room to play basketball, go swimming, attend a studio cycle class and etc. The cafe has pretty good food and the child care center is a good option for parents who want to work out.
But there are drawbacks: the club is relatively small compared to other clubs with similar price-points.
The free-weight area is always crowded from 5-8:30 in the evening and from about 6-8 in the morning. They need to fix this -- either by expanding or changing the layout of the club.
The club has a number of free classes that offer an intense workout but so often the club markets fee-driven classes (and, worse, emphasizes those classes, with trainers playing music and kind of yelling at participants). It's not a huge deal but if you don't pay attention to the challenging workout classes that are free, you may wind up in a fee-specific class.
