Motel 6 Minneapolis - Brooklyn Center

The worst hotel I attempted to stay at in 30 years! I ignored the workers standing outside at the front door smoking. I ignored the fact that it smelled like pot and cigarettes. I even ignored the hotel hallway that reeked like incense covering up even more pot odors. The room was stripped to bare necessities and oddly enough a laminate floor with no carpet! The floor was sticky, gross and small pieces of toilet paper littered the doorway. The mattress was like metal springs and the sheets were near see through. I left to eat thinking I'd try and be a trooper about the obvious bad choice I'd made. When I returned to the room it was thud, thud, thud, from the room above. There was no lamps and no alarm clock. The last straw was when the window was slightly open and when I went to shut it the locks were completely broken and with one push opened right up for anyone to get into the room (ground level room). That and the room smelled faint of smoke and pot and the thin pathetic attempt at a comforter had cigarette holes in it even though this was supposed to be a non smoking room. I couldn't even sleep there it was just so bad. I left. It wasn't even safe at that point. Extremely disappointed especially since they post such nice pics of the place online. Trust me, it does NOT look like them!
