Good food, but NOT worth the snobby attitude of the staff!!! We're not from the Maple Grove area, so we weren't "up" on the "protocol"of needing to call ahead for a Sunday morning table for 3. Shame on us! The first host we encountered apparently was trying to explain this to us, but in a volume so inaudible in a crowded restaurant, we had to ask him to repeat what he was saying twice. On the second attempt, the manager, who had overheard this, stepped in and yelled to us, "He's TRYING to ask you if you called ahead, because we have an hour and a half wait!" After which, she shoved a business card in our faces and lectured us about how "just this once" she'll seat us, but in the future we'd better have the good sense to call in. We should have left at that point, but we didn't, since she'd agreed to seat us directly. Ready to move on from that unpleasantess, another hostess walked us to our table, but started lecturing us AGAIN about how we really needed to call ahead, and I finally said, "Yeah, we're not from here, so that's not going to happen." She then chirped, "Oh! So then this is irrelevant!" and walked away. We ordered from our barely attentive waitress (had to ask for silverware), got our food, and only just a few short minutes into our meal, here she came with the check! Needless to say, the uncaring, "we're doing you a favor by even having you here" attitude was a COMPLETE turnoff. We WON'T be back.
