St. Cloud VA Health Care System

There are definitely a few staff here that need reprimanded and/or fired. If they care so little about caring for their patients that they can't even treat them as human beings then you should not be a nurse or in any profession in which you have to take care of someone else. The behavior of a couple bad staff has unfortunateltly overshadowed all the good of the numerous other staff during my dads 2 year stay at this facility. Edit in response to the VA: We have been through patient advocates, and on up the line. When even the patient advocates dont advocate what is the patient to do? The problem is that a slap on the wrist is not enough to correct the behavior of staff that repeatedly do not care about their job and see it as only a paycheck. They are protected while the patients are not. Something needs to change.

I think it's one of the best VAs in the country. And one of the few doing post-traumatic stress disorder
