I would describe this meal as poor at best.
Four of us wanted to try this new restaurant in Woodbury. To start with we had drinks, they were okay but certainly not the best drinks I've ever had. We then had a Scottish egg for an appetizer which was obliviously reheated and not fresh. The sausage inside was certainly not the best sausage available and the mustard sauce only okay.
For dinner, two of us had two hamburgers and both were over-cooked. The bacon was stringy and not crispy, the burger was tasteless, and the sauce (although good) was almost non-existent.
We had a prime rib which was really fatty, had a string in it, and a weird spice that tasted like taco seasoning and shouldn't be on a good prime rib.
We had a pepperoni pizza that instead of pizza sauce, just had canned tomato sauce on it. The pizza was not good.
And to top it all off the waiter was a teenager. I'm not bashing him, he did his best, but not what you would expect from a good restaurant for a $100 meal.
To top it all off I spoke with a manager on my way out and gave her my humble opinion in a very nice way as we left. She listened, but it was clear that she didn't care very much. If this were my restaurant I would have at least offered free drinks if not a free meal after a complaint like this. All I got was an "I'm sorry your meal wasn't very good."
