My family has been going to Sherwood Forest since 1987. I enjoyed our summers camping there as a kid and now I'm able to bring my own kids there. There is always a lot to do, holiday weekends are so much fun with dances, parades, flea markets and more. We really like that there is a kitchen where you can get burgers, chicken strips, pizzas and of course ice cream. Yes, there are occasional issues, but it's a quite larger than average campground with mostly volunteers running things. We've been there 30 years and have no plans of leaving.
