Cove Point Lodge

Gorgeous resort, placed right on the shore of Lake Superior. Grounds are well kept and very clean. We purchased a room with a queen bed and pull out couch for 2 adults and 2 grown children. We arrived and were told we no longer had the pull out couch, we now had a sofa. We complained and we were able to switch rooms. The room was nice, but small. The pull out couch was also a twin sized, very small for 2 large children making their stay very uncomfortable. Breakfast was good. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious, but very expensive. Overall I would recommend, but accommodations can be less that what one would expect.

We love this place. We come back every year. Walking along a frozen Lake Superior and listening to the waves whip under the ice has become a pastime for us. Their staff is friendly, their rooms are clean and affordable. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. Can't say enough good things.
