I would avoid anything that has to do with Paul Donnay or Donnay Homes. Unfortunately, we built with Donnay just over 12 years ago, which was a miserable process dealing with him & his son, Chad, as they are both rude, arrogant & impossible to effectively communicate with. I recently thought I would try to give Donnay a second chance & have them find & resolve an issue water leaking somehow getting through the siding into the house. I was told by our insurance co & another contractor that it looked like improper installation of the kick-out flashing, drip edge & Tyvek is likely the source of the leaking. When I attempted to talk with Paul about this issue, he cut me off & said we were outside our 10 year warranty, which I already knew. I tried to explain I was thinking of hiring him to do the work to fix the issue but he told me to put it all in an email & refused to talk with me. Obviously Donnay hasn't changed & I will never attempt further business with them again.
