If you care about your animal, please, find another clinic. You may be able to get your pet in quicker here, but there is a reason for that. There were so many things that went wrong on my visit, you couldn’t even make it up. The doctor there was unable to diagnose stomatitis, which is a very common condition in cats. He stated he had never seen the condition before! How is this even possible? He had to take a picture of my cats teeth and text message the picture to a specialist to get the diagnosis. Unbelievable. Additionally he sent me home with a thyroid medication for my cat, however the medication was not coated. The purposely make coated thyroid medication now so you do not absorb the medicine into your skin when handling; in fact it is illegal to send anyone home with this medication as they now come in coated form. When I went to pick up my cat to discuss this diagnosis, the doctor had already gone home for the day. The two ladies at the front desk could not answer any of my questions, naturally I was concerned about my cat and they referred me to the U of M for more details. Is this really a veterinary clinic with trained staff? I would have to say now. They sent me home with a $350 dollar vet bill and tried to pawn me off to the U of M because they had no answers for this incredible common feline condition. Since I was adamant, they told me to call the specialist that the doctor had texted. She did not return my call either. Please, go somewhere else. I went to Dr Smith in town who knew exactly what this condition was and was able to successfully treat my cat. Botton line, go anywhere but here.
